Prefinishing

Creating a quality finish requires expertise and know-how. There are many different coatings available on the market today and we work with several of them. Typically most prefinishing is done with a clear, stain or enamel coating.

Many times a custom color match is required. We have a technician on staff who can do this in-house. This allows us to produce a custom match quickly to reduce turn-around time. Many jobs spec out a particular product/coating for a project. We are happy to provide the product/coating you specify. Other prefinishing companies are often times limited to solely providing water-based coatings. We work with solvent, UV and water based coatings. No matter the coating, we take every measure to use and dispose of them in an environmentally safe manner. We also recycle whatever material we can to reduce our environmental impact.

Shipping

With two 26-foot dock trucks we can offer the added convenience of pick-up and/or delivery of your product. We take the nesessasary measures to package your product for safe transport. We are also happy to work with the shipping company of your choice where deliveries of greater distance are required.

Inventory

We are also able to inventory some products for our customers. This allows you to keep unfinished material in our warehouse. As your orders come in we will pull your product from inventory, finish them and then arrange for shipping. This is a great convenience to many customers.

Freeport is not afraid to go beyond the prefinishing process. We have worked on several projects where some light assembly is required. Each project can be unique, we know this well.
