Our company was founded in 1992 by Mike McColley. Mike began his career in the kitchen cabinetry business back in 1972. Eventually he went into sales for a major wood-coatings manufacturer. After 18 years with them, Mike opened Freeport Finishing, Inc. here in Isanti. We started out in a 7500 sq ft facility with one spray booth and two employees. Since then we have moved into a 30,000 sq ft facility with multiple hand and automated finishing operations and over 30 employees. Mike has since retired and the company is now ran by his son, Chris. His daughter, Melysa, is also employed by the company as the Office Manager. We are a family-run business and we take great pride in what we do!

Our staff consists of well-trained professionals, each with several years of experience in their field. It is our goal to produce quality finishes and to give our customers a real sense of value.
